Comment: Thank you for the letter Holly. I totally understand. I've had a very very similar thing happen to me and it can be very painful. But I can tell you, now that several years have passed in my situation, that over time people change, they grow, the pain fades, and like I, you may eventually find yourself in a more meaningful relationship (especially with the sibling) than you would have shared without this event. It doesn't seem like it now, but this could totally happen. In the meantime you can take comfort in your heart knowing you acted out of love. Eventually that love reaches the person you gave it to. <3
