Comment: Hi Marsha, I made a quick stop at the PO yesterday on my way to dinner and was surprised to see a whole stack of mail. Nice way to end the year! Thanks for your book list and thanks for pointing out that I don't have anything about books on my profile. Amazing! I live in a very small condo, and I have eight bookcases. My library is a block and half away, just a nice stroll though the park - and there are stacks of books at the bedside, on the coffee table, even in the loo! I'll put something on my profile. You have an interesting list. The words time-travel leapt out at me right away. I love time-travel books but I only like to travel ahead and not back! I've tried to read historical fiction but just can't get into it. Part of the problem is that I'm never sure which characters or parts of the story are true and which are fiction. I'm going to have a peek at Peter and the Starcatcher the next time I'm in the library, probably tomorrow and see if I might like that one. A couple of people have tipped me to some terrific Young Adult books which I'd never read before.. I am just finishing the most amazing YA book. Seraphina, by Rachel Hartman. Please try this book, it is superbly written, amazing characters and a plot that will knock your socks off! Poisonwood Bible sounds like a really good read and I'm definitely adding that one to my list. Happy New Year!
