Description:

I was just trying to think of a cool swap based on things that I like to do that aren't too weird so that there are probably others who like it too, so I thought of designing outfits! Not designing from scratch, though. Just picking from different catalogues and websites things that would go nice together.

So what we'll do is this:

1) Take a sturdy material (cardstock/cardboard/etc), cut it 4x6, the usual postcard size and all.

2) Go crazy with going through catalogues and websites and cut things out that you like. You could also use handy dandy Polyvore, which is specially designed for this purpose.

3) Once you've got everything cut out, put it together in the usual outfits manner (ie head->shirt->pants->shoes) so it isn't scattered around. If your outfit includes accessories, though, I would think it would be okay to leave them to the side since it's a bit hard to find a picture of a necklace small enough to place properly and still be able to cut it out. So just put the main pieces in order.

4) Don't forget to have a pretty background on your card! This can be a photo cut from a magazine, a drawing you've done yourself, anything really.

5) On the back, write a quick note to your partner about anything.

6) Then pop it in the mail to your partner!

Simple enough, I would think. I marked this as a type three since it's a postcard that is time-intensive, but if anyone has any qualms with that, I'll go ahead and change it. All regular rules apply, ie no flaking, please send on time, notify your partner if you have to be late, etc. Minimum rating of 4.8 and no recent ones of threes, please. Newbies allowed!

Have fun!
