About 3 or 4 weeks after the sign up ends email your 3 partners about how you did with your challenge. You don't have to succeed at your challenge just give it a good try and tell your partner how you tried.

Answer these question:

What was your challenge? What steps did you take to try to succeed? How close did you get to succeeding? Are you pleased with your progress? Would you try something different? Will you continue with this challenge or are you done?

I love this idea! I definitely need something to help me do one of the many things that I want to change for the better. The top of my list, and the one that I'm going to challenge myself to do, is to keep my apartment clean. My place is usually in a state of disorganized chaos, so I'd like a chance to keep on top of the cleaning.

I love this idea too - great swap, @iggygirl :)

I have a few things I'm going to challenge myself to do, if that's okay? 1 - Eat clean. (I'm normally good with this, but I've been sliding lately.) 2 - Exercise at least 3x weekly. (Again, normally good with this, but it's too cold for me to run in the mornings now, and I've been slacking on other exercise that I CAN do.) 3 - Create something EVERY day, even if it's just something itty-bitty like an inchie. 4 - Work on craft supply organization.

Here's to a great month! :)

I want to lose 5 lbs doing these zumba classes with my sister. 5 Lbs may not seem like a lot, but I'm having a hard time losing ANY weight!

iggygirl 10/ 5/2011 #

Of course you can do multiples. And you have until the sign up date to add to your challenge or say "Oh wait I don't think I can do that, I'll change my challenge to this.............."

I challenge myself to:

-$10 maximum spending money per day however I shall make a rule that unused money from 1 day can be used the another day so if I know I need $20 one day then just don't spend any money before.

-Exercise at the pool 3 times a week

-Bike to and from work unless the weathers bad.

-weekly cleaning day (I'm kinda messy)

-Art video once a week (slacking in the arts)

-Pay more attention to eating healthy.

I would like to study better. I just had 4 exams last week and 2 of them kicked my butt. I'm sure I would have to much better if I had properly studied. So I would like to:

~Go to the tutoring center at least once a week for thermodynamics

~Do homework in my gaps between classes instead of at night when I'm too tired.

~Read the chapters for each class even though the books are so boring! Engineering is interesting, but can be so dry!

I hope you keep doing this swap so we can try again if we fail or choose a new goal. I need this!

This is a really fantastic idea. I challenge myself to-

1) Use my gym membership at least three times a week, preferably 4 2)attend one of the classes they offer at the gym (zumba, yoga, dance moves) 3) Lose 5 pounds 4) Cull my belongings to get rid of things I don't need anymore. 5) Get on the train and go travelling to someplace new at least once. 6) Complete 6 granny squares for my own afghan (I've always given mine away).

1 – to write a blog post every day; 2 – to exercise of any kind 5 days a week; 3 – to spend one morning/afternoon/day a week with my 11-yo daughter; 4 – to work on my project related to teaching early English.

This is a great swap that will help keep me more accountable.

If you haven't posted a comment stating your challenge be sure to due so now. I'll wait till saturaday or sunday to assign partners and will remove whoever has not posted their challenge by then.

I'm altering my challenges a bit.

I challenge myself to:

-$15 maximum spending money per day however I shall make a rule that unused money from 1 day can be used the another day so if I know I need $30 one day then just don't spend any money before. Make sure to not spend the maximum each day so I can make a deposit to savings or credit card every friday.

-Exercise everyday, swim at least 3 times per week, other days bike or walk for 1 hour.

-weekly cleaning day (I'm kinda messy)

-Draw everyday and Art video once per week

-Pay more attention to eating healthy. Eat more fruits and vegetables, less processed food.

Wow! This is going to be a great one!

#1 make a greater effort with studying for my massage classes. (I was recently destroyed on a test, and I know i'm better than that.)

#2 put more money into our savings. I bet home ownership would be nice! (We had a plan in place, but we have slacked off big time!)

#3 use my wii workout games like just dance at least once a week. (I would say more, but I figure its easier to go from park to first gear than jump right to third gear!)

#4 deep clean one room a week until all that's needed is simple maintenance. (I expect this to be the hardest of all!)

Good luck everyone!!

physical health: - i feel cliche by now but "eat better, exercise more". - stick with kung fu classes and practice in between.

mental health: - blog at least twice a week.

relationship: - stick to our saturday date night and come up with creative stuff to do.

business: - rustle up more clients in each of my businesses!

home: - unpack the remaining boxes in the master bed/bath - paint my home office and the dining room - leave no dish unwashed for more than 24 hours

i know it's a lot, but this way even if i fail at half of them, i'll have made major progress. :)

1) Write at least one blog post a week. 2) Take lunch to work at least three days a week. 3) Sell at least one thing on ebay each week & put the money into my house deposit fund. 4) Do my physio exercises every day. 5) Lose at least half a stone.
