Description:

This will be an International swap.

This is for all of you people that own lots of rubber stamps and would like to share the images and get back some new ones in return.

You will stamp 10 good-sized images on white cardstock. If you only have small stamps then you can send a couple of smaller sized stamps in place of the larger ones. I myself love the small size stamps. They must all be on separate pieces of card. Or you could stamp them on already cut squares/rectangles/circles/scallops and other shapes. They should be an assortment of themes...floral, holidays, etc. for a variety of different new images for everyone.

Any colour ink that you prefer can be used for this. Please make sure they are images that can be colored/inked/chalked, etc. so your swap partner can color them in to match their cards or scrapbook pages.

Maybe send other smaller images for hearts or other small embellishments or ribbons for hearts? Not required, but still fun!

Rating of 4.5 or above and Newbies (with a profile completed) may join! Questionable swappers will be removed from the swap. I will ban anyone that I think is a bit sus.

A big thank you to Kentuckygirl for originally thinking of this idea. I thought it was such a great swap but unfortunately hers was us canada only and I am in Australia. So thanks.

I love this swap! I just don't have that many decent sized stampers, most of mine are tiny.

Bluebird 01/ 5/2008 #

i will change it slightly so you can send small ones too i think.

CelestialFreak 01/ 5/2008 #

Thanks, I think about it...

Carmel 01/ 5/2008 #

what does a good-size mean? can you give it to me in inches?

Starwatcher 01/ 5/2008 #

I've been waiting for another swap like this to show up! I think I have as many stamped images that I have collected as rubber stamps that I own (and that's a lot!) thanks for hosting this swap! I'm in!

Bluebird 01/ 5/2008 #

By decent sized I mean maybe about 2.5 x 2.5 inches. Because this is an international swap you would be better to fit them in a atandard sized envelope. So as big as you can make them as long as they fit in the envelope I suppose. I hope this helps everyone.

CelestialFreak 01/ 6/2008 #

After taking inventory of my stamp collection I really feel I should drop. The only decent sized stampers I have are religious and I'd hate to get paired with someone whom that would offend and then have an unhappy partner. I do love the idea of this swap, I just think at this point in time I have to drop, maybe once I buy more stampers I'll start joining a swap like this again later. Thank you for your invitation, Sorry I have to drop.

I prefer the images stamped with black StazOn, so I can color them in, but if my partners don't have that type of ink, I'm happy with anything else :-)

groeten, Francis

No worries celestialFreak. Maybe next time.

alifromourpatch 01/ 7/2008 #

Are the images just to be stamped on a piece of white card stcock, not on an actual folded card??

I would love to join in but am new so just confirming the requirements first!

Bluebird 01/ 7/2008 #

Yes just a piece of white cardstock. Not a card.

KentuckyGirl 01/14/2008 #

I'm joining the international one, too! :) Can't wait to start swapping!

Bluebird 01/15/2008 #

Great to have you in this one KentuckyGirl !

I love stamps and I just got a gorgeous set of oriental ones and a cute froggy (I need to make a lot of cards for stitchers) so I can't wait to share some with you all. Would heat embossed images be ok?

Bluebird 01/16/2008 #

Oh wow I think people would love heat embossed ones too. As long as they are not all heat embossed. I hope I get you as one of my partners. jen:)

I just got done with the USA one now I have to join this one. I love these swaps they really help with my cardmaking. I just got some new stampin up stamps for Christmas and can't wait to share. I liked them embossed cause I think they are easier to color. But will take them either way.

Bluebird 01/20/2008 #

Personally I have to agree with you there macka they are easier to color. I love embossed ones.

Starwatcher 01/29/2008 #

I was thinking about using photo paper - you get 10 4x6" pages in a pack for $1.00 at our local dollar Tree. They look really nice especially when using Stazon ink. Plus these would fit easily into an envelope -and my favorite images are about that size. I have a few Flower Fairies by Cicely Mary Barker and some D. Morgan images which I picked up years ago. They make great cards!

cobaltgypsy 02/ 1/2008 #

I just signed up, and I want to be sure I got it right--there's 10 images per partner for a total of 30 images, right? blessings, Gypsy

Bluebird 02/ 2/2008 #

Yes Gypsy thats right! 10 images per partner a total of 30 all up.

Hi, I'm new to this site, but not to swaps. I love this type of swap. I have a metric arseload of stamps, so I'm all kinds of excited to do this one!

I have a full profile, but if you need more info, lemme know and I'll be happy to give it.

Bluebird 02/ 5/2008 #

Welcome katybean27. Thanks for joining this swap.

katybean27 02/ 6/2008 #

Thanks for the welcome, and for letting newbies in!

ciaobella 02/ 6/2008 #

New to stamping but not to swapping! Love joining this swap as I'm very limited in the stamps I have to play with. Looking forward to seeing what images I receive. Mine are already in the mail. Hope my partners will enjoy. Diane

katybean27 02/ 9/2008 #

Mine are sent. I sent more than 10, because some weren't really all that big. Hope y'all enjoy!
