Description:

Send your one partner a map postcard - it can be a map of anywhere! State, province, country, whatever - if it's a map postcard, it's fair game! (Easy-peasy, right?)

No handmade or ad cards, please - store-bought postcards only. (No Zazzle or anything similar, sorry - I've gotten complaints about the quality.) Cards are to be sent naked (which means written on, stamped and NOT in an envelope), with a little note hand-written to your partner on the back. Your partner has grounds to rate you a 3 if you don't follow these guidelines - so please do, for your sake and mine!

Please remember to include the swap name and your username on the postcard, so your partner knows who to thank and rate!

I will be checking profiles before partners are assigned. Newbies with a well-filled out profile are welcome - everyone starts somewhere! You MUST have a filled out profile and MUST have been on swap-bot within a week prior to the sign-up deadline. NO unexplained ones or threes, please. NO overdue swaps. If you don't meet these criteria, I'm sorry, but you'll be banned. I have pretty simple requirements, yet I always end up with someone angry with me when they don't meet them... If you're not sure, ask!

If you flake on one of my swaps (and you won't, right?), I will eat you. Okay, not really - first, I'm a vegan, and second, if you are what you eat, the last thing I want to be is a flaker! Seriously though, I will name and shame and you will never be allowed in my (or many other people's, I'm sure) swaps again.

Please don't forget to rate your partner!

Any questions, please ask!

This will likely be the last of this series until AFTER we buy a house & move in 2012 - I promise I'll resume the series ASAP! I will still be around, but won't be participating in mailed swaps until we get settled. Please wish us luck - I'm both excited and scared!

(A note to those interested - I keep a running list of upcoming themes for this swap on my profile. Check it out if you'd like to see what's coming next! ♥)

Why the prohibition against Zazzle? I just received a big order from them and the PCs were beautiful-- the printing was photo-quality, the glossy finish was professional and the card stock was the right weight. The only problem I could see is if the user uploaded a poor-quality image. PM me and I'll send you one and you can judge.

@carmen - Sorry, but I've had too many complaints about them at this point. :( A lot of people don't consider them to be truly store-bought as well...I'm kind of middle-ground on them, but it's safer to not allow them. I know that a LOT of other swaps allow them, though! :)

Archiving this swap - if anyone has any problems or comments, please PM me, as I won't see it if you post here! :)
