what size will be the doll when one sewed it?

I am not a sewer but would like to see an image. If I am emailed a pic it needs to be the same as if it where posted to swap bot in size. I am on very slow dial up. I also would like to know how big it is and how soon the doll body would be able to get to me if I feel it is beyond my sewing. I would like to do a very nice job and swaps of this nature take me time but I am very interested and love magical/ God dolls.

I am a sewer, but mostly home fashions, tote bags, etc - never sewn a doll. I too would like to know the size and see a picture to have an idea of how to embellish the doll. A link to a website would be great - thanks

Got my pattern yesterday. thank you so much. I did not realize it was a dotee. I think I can handle the sewing on this just fine. thank you again for the kindness of sending a pattern.

Made the doll today - was in a sewing mood to create - now my next question - do these dolls stand on their own, how do you display them or what do you do with them?

well good question - could put a ribbon hanger on the doll - get a small metal doll stand from hobby lobby - maybe 2.00 American so you could stand her up - I just love dolls so i lean her up on one of my hobby shelves to look at for a while then she moves to my big plastic box or glass case to be stored and come out later -

if is fun to see they way people make these dolls and the dotee dolls - very creative decorations are added to help with a theme or in this case she is a goddess - no face required these can be called spirit dolls also - Joy dolls - get well wish dolls - fell better doll - on and on I think people that sew a lot and or like dolls just like them

the size of the doll will be as follows you sew around the pattern right at the line and then turn her over that is the size - I think we should all come out with the same size - hope so

FOR Cajun Lady no not linking the pattern as everyone could maybe print it in different size I wanted them all the same do not worry I am not keeping any of yours addresses - if you need or want the pattern after the swap will be glad to email it to you not a problem

For tengu2 and others on Goddess doll swap (tengu2 I also posted same message to you on your message center) just FYI oops sorry is not a dotee - although some might think that - a real dotee has no arms nor legs and is rectangle rounded at the top created by Dot in Australia (i believe she has passed away) she sold the kits to make the original one and it was very simple just fabric stuffing and the little felt face they have come along way with that simple idea and the creativity of all the ladies around the world this one i would use with out the arms for a dotee and it is really nice shape to make a dotee from more personality with these shapes hope you enjoy making this one Maggie the size of the doll will be as follows you sew around the pattern right at the line and then turn her over that is the size - I think we should all come out with the same size - hope so I think we have all just started calling Dotee to any little strange shaped stuffed doll - but they are all fun to make and collect

DID I GET BACK TO EVERYONE - please if not i have no prob sending you any pattern i have this doll is for you to create any way you like to represent spirit or a goddess with fabric just let me know if i have missed anyone - i am ill with those mesh implants and some days i do not do so well and forget to look at my swaps -
