Description:

There are so many swaps for hand-made things...how about a swap for materials for making handmade items? Well, it's like this: It's a "free" theme swap, meaning, you choose the materials to send your partner, based on what they say they like. And give your preferences too. You can swap items for knitting, crocheting, cross stitching...and so on...such as yarn, cotton, fabrics, buttons, ribbons, magazines (new or old),needles, for instance, you can send things you have and don't need or don't know what to do with... But think and arrange things, such as you would like receiving! Christmas is coming, and I'm sure that there are people out there who would like to have different stuff to work with, from other countries...

about how much stuff should be sent? I would love to join this swap, but just wondering, because if it's too much I wont be able to afford it.

Hi Stephanie! You're the one who chooses what to send and the quantity. You decide what you can spend.

In fact, I think we get addicted to achieving new materials but in the end we find no use for most things, you're right! That sometimes happens to me too, and when I visited this site this swap just came to my mind! I hope you all will enjoy this swap! If you have any doubts wahtsoever, please e-mail me. ^_^

Great idea! I'm easy to please: ribbon, fabric (even little bits), thread, vintage or unusual buttons, stickers, felt, stamps, nice paper, markers, etc. :)

Dalinda, any preferences or requests? :)

I LOVE foreign paper scraps - magazines, newspapers, gift bags, wrapping paper, etc. Anything for collage or papier mache. I also LOVE any type of funky fabrics. Pretty much anything crafty and funky/retro will DELIGHT me. Thanks!

I sent my package to Norway today -- but I was told it might take up to 1-1/2 months to get there! I hope my partner will be patient. :)

i mailed my package to Portugal today, to Sandra.. it should arrive within 8 - 11 weeks. ((: the items inside are kinda random, hope you don't mind! i haven't been down to the crafting stores lately, and my supplies are running low..
