It was a dark and stormy night... Gorey inspired

What kind of creepy madness comes to mind when you hear those words at the beginning of a story?

We will make one Edward Gorey inspired ATC for one partner with the "dark and stormy night" theme. It can be interpreted any way you want: scary, ghostly, macabre or quirky, as long as it captures some of the feeling that a Gorey illustration exudes.

All of the regular rules apply: original work, hand drawn/painted element, no scrapbook style, etc., etc.
