Hand Carved Stamps: All Purpose Notecards

This fun swap was originally hosted by @MissThundercat about a year ago. It was great fun, I thought we should do it again!

For this swap you'll get to use your own hand carved stamps in a really fun way! This swap is for newbies as well as well seasoned carvers! Dates are edited, you have more time to make your cards

Objective Make 2 all purpose note cards for 2 partners (that's 4 note cards in total) using a hand carved stamp in the design and matching envelopes.

Note card = a folded sturdy card with envelope. card size unfolded should be at least 1/2 letter/A4 sized, folded A5 (10x15 cm) = regular post card size

All Purpose = not for a specific event, so no specific holiday phrases on the cards. Think fun greeting cards that can be used for any event. Or just simple correspondence cards, with a fun phrase on them that has nothing to do with holidays (like, 'just to say hello', 'fun mail for you', 'just because' etc..) > The word stamps doesn't have to be hand carved themselves,

You can make the note cards with any medium you like, paper, fabric, collaged etc, but the central element of the card should be a print of a hand carved stamp. You can use several stamps, or just one, in the design, that's up to you, The hand carved stamp(s) used must be of your own making. Weather you make one specifically for this swap, or use the ones you already made is totally up to you.

You can also use 'commercially made stamps' for the background or phrasings if you choose to use any. This swap is not profile based, so design is all sender's choice,

Please make matching envelopes for the cards, ie. decorate a corner or the back flip so it matches the card.

Please make something you would be proud of to receive yourself. You'll have ample time to make your cards. Since this is sender's choice you can start on them right away and don't have to wait until partner's are assigned.
