Description:

I am looking to swap cookbooks. I will be swapping a quality trade cookbook that is in gift giving condition. By gift-giving condition I mean there is no evidence that the book has been used before (certainly no food stains --yuck! or dog-earred pages, etc.) If you have a quality paper back cookbook or a hard cover cookbook you would like to trade that is in gift-giving condition please join the swap. (For those of you still wondering the approximate value of the cookbook should be 12.95 and up).

I realize that many swappers now have elaborate profiles with long lists of likes and dislikes and dietary requirements, etc. But for the sake of this swap we are going to suspend all of that and just swap the cookbook we have on hand --okay!? In other words, if you are a picky eater or picky about cookbooks, don't join this one.

So if you are willing to walk on the path of culinary surprise please join in. I will take anyone who is free and clear of no sends, or who has an overall rating of 4.5 or higher. I will purge the list of any swappers who don't meet those requirements before partners are assigned to ensure that we all have a happy swapping experience. So that we have the option of using media mail and keeping the costs down I am limiting this to US only. Thanks! Happy Swapping! Mapps

you say gift giving condition--could we lighten it up a tiny bit. I have some books that are not PRISTINE but aren't dog earred and stained (I would never give those away, they're the BEST ones!!!). These are used books that we have on hand, not go to the store and buy new ones, correct?

HI Carladallas:

Let's put it this way: if you were to sell the book on Amazon (or another online used site) you should be able to list the book as "very good" condition. Here is how that is defined:

Very Good: A copy that has been read, but remains in excellent condition. Pages are intact and are not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.

Hope this helps!

Surprise me! If I happen to have it I'll just pass it on to my best friend.

I have fish allergies, but I don't care if that's what I get. I can always alter the recipes to be for chicken, or find them a new home.

I'm not picky at all.

I love cookbooks for kids, and old, outdated cookbooks, (60's and older) So I'm pretty easy. No need to go out of your way for me.

Great swap!
