HANDMADE ONLY KAWAII Stuffed Envie Swap

OPEN TO: NEWBIES AND INTERNATIONAL =^_^=

• Do you live in a rural community where your access to kawaii items from Japan or China are limited?

• Is your nearest Sanrio, San-X, Q-Lia, etc. distributor more than an hour away?

• Are you forced to spend exhorbitant amounts in shipping just to own your favorite Hello Kitty, Badtz Maru, Chococat, etc. when the item itself may have only been priced for pennies?

• Are you crafty and creative, often making your own kawaii items?

Here's the rules:

You are to read the comments below or the profiles of participants and see what kinds of kawaii they like. Also, think of kawaii that you like. THIS IS SWAPPER'S CHOICE!!! (but if someone says they don't like a certain kind--i.e. I don't like Gloomy Bear---then don't send them that kind.)

You will have 1 partner only.

Fill a 6 X 9 envelope with HANDMADE kawaii items. (you can include store boughts as an extra treat, but THEY ARE NOT NECESSARY).

Examples: Felt stuffies, bookmarks, stickers printed from your home computer using scanned or internet images, letter sets (made the same way), magnets, decorated pocket mirrors, hand decorated pencils/pens or little containers/boxes, crochetted/knitted amigurumi critters, handmade kawaii hair items, handmade earrings, totebags, etc.

REMEMBER: THE POINT IS THAT THE KAWAII IS HANDMADE!!! THIS IS TO CELEBRATE AND HELP OUT THOSE OF US WHO HAVE LIMITED ACCESS TO "REAL" KAWAII ITEMS. If you are expecting "real" or exact items, don't join this swap.

If you are unsure what "kawaii" is--do a google search for "Japanese kawaii" and click on images. You'll get a good idea then.

fine print: Make sure there is a VARIETY of items. DO NOT send an entire envie of stickers. So, I'm going to say that you should include at least 3 different items.
