Thriftstore Find - #25 USA

I was going to do this for only two years but everyone likes this and the followers are almost the same so here goes for another year.

This is one of my favorite swaps! I had a great swap last time. I sent my partner an Italian food cookbook along with some brand new recipe cards I found. My partner sent me a ton of gorgeous items. Cannot wait to do it again!

Just remember sometimes it all depends!

My experience has been 50-50 but I enjoy trying to find something for my partner,and when I receive something that I really like,its worth the times that I haven't! Thanks @ladydy5 for your committment to this swap!

I thoroughly enjoyed this last time as well! Got a great envie from my partner, and even though I REALLY put a lot of thought and time into finding something for my partner, and still didn't get a heart, I had fun doing it. So maybe I can do better for my partner next time!

topshelf, just remember the rules are just a 5 rating if they send. You may have put thought in it and sent something really nice but the person you sent it to did not get that feeling because feelings can not be seen. Just know you did a fabulous job for your swapper. To me finding something "special" is a heart as you don't have to get something listed in their profile if you can't find itl.

I didn't even get rated for mine! lol I'd gladly take a 5 with no heart over nothing!

Cerenaleigh contact swapper and ask her to rate. I feel I must say this. I have one person in some of my swaps with a 4.7. Read her profile if you are worried about this rating. She is doing great. If it bothers u don't sign up. I am giving her a chance so she can bring up that rating. Same with newbies, I stated I will check them out carefully too..

I also stated "no 1's in past 6 mms. If you read why then maybe u will understand if I don't ban that one. It is my decision I mentioned "without telling me why". In 2 yrs., I have had 2 or 3 with good ratings flake and their swapper gets angelled.

Would love to join. I am a newb, though I signed up in Nov, but had trouble logging in and then got sick. Yuck! :/- Would love to join if possible, but understand if not.

No max nor min. As of today all participants look good, newbies included.

Darn, I would so love to do a swap like this if it were international!

How many items are u to send? Will sign up in a few days after I send one of my swaps out I have signed up for the Max am a newb I am having so much fun swapping that I'm signing up for several swaps :-) .

sherig47: You can send one or several it is up to you and how you want to do it. We have very generous swappers in this swap and we have limited finances for others and it all works out well. Have fun with it mostly.

This will be my second thrift store swap. I can't wait to get my partner and send my findings to her!

One more week to send date, well a couple of days more than a week. Just a reminder, you know I always remind.

I cannot believe 40 have not marked as sent yet and 4 days till send date. Come on swappers don't disappoint.

I usually send as soon as I get my partner, but this one I want it to be extra special, so I may not get it sent out until just a couple days before the send date. maybe that's what other people are doing too? I wouldn't start worrying too much yet. :)

Mine was sent yesterday morning, but I completely forgot to mark my swap as sent...until now! :P

Five (5) have not sent yet or have not marked as sent. I have messaged a lot of you and you forgot to mark it sent so please understand why I message you when you are late. The 5 out of 72 is very good but would be so much nicer if no one got left out of this swap, even me.

Why do people sign up for these swaps if they have no intention on following through with them? I most always sends mine out within the first couple of days after the swap starts. As soon as I sign up for a swap I start searching for items to pass along. Gees, it's not that hard to do. I hope you plan on banning the flakers from any more swaps you may have ladydy5
