Owner's Choice Circle Journal!

For this swap everyone will make, or buy, a journal that's less than 13 ounces. Journal should be at least 3x5, but no larger than 8x10, and should contain at least 30 pages.

Once you have your journal, do the following...
Front Cover: decorate or alter any way you want.
1st Page: Add journal title with contact information, as well as group swap information.
2nd Page: Write a little intro section to your journal. If you have a theme, or items you would or would not like put in your journal, please list them here.
3rd, 4th, 5th, Pages: Make a little section where everyone that takes part in your journal will sign in. This can be simple or super creative (google 'circle journal sign in page' for ideas).
Back Cover: Add a return address label with your address and a 'IF FOUND PLEASE RETURN TO' label, with your address, as if you were sending it to yourself. In the corner where postage would go write 'POSTAGE PAID BY RECIPIENT.' This methods should only be used in extreme circumstances...but I'm hoping it'll be a little extra insurance to get these journals home.

Before the sign up deadline, please list your journal's theme(s) in the comment section below. If you don't have a theme just write 'OPEN' or 'Artist's Choice.' Once the partners are assigned I will email everyone the participant list, the order in which the journals will be circling, as well as the journal themes.

Once you've received someone's journal. Read the into page. Sign in. And start contributing. We will be sending journals out every two weeks, so take your time and put your best work into these. Once you're proud of what you've contributed, package the journal up so it's ready to send on. In order to try to keep only one journal with each person at a time, so we don't start feeling overwhelmed, please wait until the send date before sending.

Please realize that this is a very time intensive swap, if you are unable to commit yourself, please consider participating in one of our journal page swaps, instead.

That being said...if for some reason you need to drop out of the swap, part way through the circle, please contact me so we can figure out what needs to be done. You will be responsible for sending the journal, that you are in possession of at that time, to the owner. As long as this process is complete, when stepping back from the circle, I expect nothing less than a 5 rating given. Unexpected things happen, in life, as long as the journal keeps moving, you should not be docked for these things.

Sign up deadline will be April 30th. Start getting your journal together as soon as you sign up. Depending on how many people we have join, the send dates will be as follows:
May 7th.
May 21st.
June 4th.
June 18th.
July 2nd.
July 16th .
July 30th.
August 13th.
August 27th.
September 10th.
