Thrift Store Shoe Tales

I do enjoy poking around rummage sales and thrift stores, and often come across some outrageous / pretty / funky / sad pair of shoes. One time I saw a pair of spike-heeled tennis shoe full-length boots (in lime green, no less!) So, for this swap, visit your local thrift store, scope out their shoe section, and take a digital photograph of a pair that strikes your fancy, and email it to your partner. Also include a short (one to two line) story about the shoes (such as, "Ingrid thought that the man was definitely following her....oh, if only she had worn her spike heels, she'd have a weapon...." ....etc., etc. Now, a 'regular' store wouldn't like you photographing the merchandise, but at a thrift store it should be no problem. But, if you are asked what in the heck are you doing taking pictures, just explain with a smile that it is for a treasure hunt, and you should be just fine!
