Take your favorite cartridge and make your partner 5 different cuts. If they are layered cuts you will need to assemble them before you send. This is senders choice. The size preferably large enough to use on a handmade greeting card, maybe 4" or 5.5". My Cricut is the smaller one that cuts 6 x 12 paper. A 6 x 9 flat non padded envie will work to send. You can fold over a cereal box to keep it from being folded going thru the mail. ETA: This may be a senders choice but, it would be nice to check your partners lists in the group forum to make sure the cartridge you will be using is not one they already have. | |

A cut would be a design that your cricut cuts, it can be one layer or up to 4. Most of my cartridges do up to 4 layers. I made this one the other day with my Florals Embellished cartridge has 4 layers.
The wording is only 1 layer. I cut it 4" and put it on a small gift bag, it could be used also for a greeting card. Hope this helps @Beckster Just PM me if I can answer any more questions. :)
