Samhain Altar Swap

Witchy Greetings

Samhain is just 2 months away believe it or not! So its the perfect time to start a swap :) This swap will be a treasure hunt of sorts and will end with your partner receiving a wonderful Samhain altar kit! Yay.

For this swap you will send your partner 5 items from the list below. These 5 items must be sent in a small box to hold the Samhain items. The box should preferably be wooden as it will hold up better then any other style box. However if you know of another style that would hold up like wood feel free to go with it :)No particular size is required, however the items you send must fit in the box! This is required :)

Items you may send:

•Dark colored candles such as burgundy's, blacks, deep purples, etc

•Dark colored/Samhain themed altar cloths

•small skulls, grave rubbings, grave images, representations of death

•dried leaves, nuts, acorns

•dark colored beads

•a small doll made of straw

•images or representations of gods/goddesses who represent death

•Black scrying mirror

•Black cat items

•Jack-O-Latern Items

•Witchy items

•a small Book/journal about Samhain

•Dark colored crystals such as jet or obsidian

•Herbs such as sandalwood, rose, Vervain,nutmeg, Mugwort, Allspice, Broom, Catnip, Deadly Nightshade, Mandrake, Oak leaves, Sage 

•Samhain ritual ideas, and/or spells

This is just a list of ideas of course and you may run with these ideas to come up with your own 5. However you must send 5 individual items PLUS the box to keep them in. You can not send 5 candles as your 5 items. 5 candles would be 1 item :) Also, I would like to see a lot of Love go into this swap. Though I am a dollar tree addict, I don't want to see a box with 5 dollar store items in it if it means very low quality. Send items you would love to receive! Above all, have fun!!
