Start with January!

Ok this is a bit new but i'm thinking for this swap you will make one page and it will be themed around a month and we will do these in sequence. The hope is that you will get a page for each month to make into a little journal to just highlight the month. So that these will be uniform the base page will be 6x8. Now you can have stuff sticking out the side tabs out the top, whatever you like, but the base should be the regular size, also please nothing sticking out the bottom so you can put these up on a shelf for display. Also think to decorate with background in mind so people can add photos, memorabilia, and such. think pockets clips, little tabs. You can also add little bits in the envelope if you like.

Now you will make one page front and back. decorate it however you like. Please use a sturdy base, like thin chipboard, asitate, whatever, recycle think outside the box! These will be senders choice. if you are a fast crafter you can wait and check profiles for likes and favorite colors, but since these are month based i think it should be easy to theme out. Also you want to make sure that there is some sort of reference to the month. a small calendar, a title, something. Do NOT put any sort of binding method on there so that when we have all 12 your partner can bind then however they like. I am going to do these pretty fast since i want to get these done before the end of the year so we can start them come January. If you miss a month just let me know and if we get enough i will set up extra swaps or even personal swaps to fill out your book. These should be pretty shipping friendly since its just one page. Also try to steer clear of religious themes.
