Description:

Have you caught the decorative tape fever like I have? Washi tape is one of my new favorites, but there are lots of other kinds of decorative tape (Tim Holtz makes decorative tissue tapes; and there are lots of other brands of decorative (deco) tapes, paper tapes, washi tapes, and even duct tapes You can do all sorts of things with tape, including dressing up envelopes. It's so easy to use; peel or cut pieces and stick it down and do this several times with several different colors/designs and you've got a pretty envelope that will “wow” the postal people and the recipient.

Thus, for your partner, you will take a plain envelope and "make it pretty" with decorate tape; use several different colors and/or designs.

Please write a short note to your partner and put some decorative tape on it too (it could be a note card or stationery); after all, this is “Decorative Tape Mail.”

Have fun!

I "googled" washi tape cards last night and oh, my there are so many cool ideas - and simple too. I watched a few YouTube videos and already made one card. FUN!

Tim Holtz has a tape, can that be used? I'm not sure its labeled "washi" tape, guess I could google it! Is washi a brand name,or decorative tape is what you mean? I have several rolls of decorative tape, just don't know if its washi?

Yes, it can. In fact, I edited the swap so that all decorative tapes can be used.
