Historical Photo Op!

There's always history right in your own backyard! Grab your point and click or fancy camera and go to a local historical site and photograph it.

The photo is in the style of the sender's choosing. It can be posed with people or things in it or filtered in a fun way. However your want to express the cool thing that's near you. The photo should be 8x10 or larger for hanging purposes. (no point in a 4x6 if you can't display it properly!)

Along with the photo, write a short description of what inspired the photo and a little historical background on the focus of the picture.
