Description:

Well, before we know it Christmas will be gone and we will all be wondering where the wonderful offerings from our postboxes are!

*Mail Box

*Post Box

*Letterbox.....

*Whatever you call it, let's help our swap partner get into the groove for the New Year by sending a postcard to wish them well! So if you're a tad worn out by all the holiday festivities, simply grab a pen, a postcard and write a few warm words to your partner. You may even tell them how you celebrate, if you do/did.

I've weeded out flakers from the last Lonely Mailbox swap -- so no worries.

Bring on 2013!

Are handmade postcards ok, or only store bought?

Lonely mailbox indeed..... This seems like the perfect first swap :)

@JenDT - handmade are great as long as your partner is cool with them - and @Juicycupcake yes, isn't a lonely mailbox a sad thing indeed? Good chance to un-lonely it!

I like easy-going folks! But I do understand if you collect a certain type of card. I really enjoy seeing the effort put into handmade pc's.

Hand made will be fine with me. I will also be happy with vintage card. I love them all.

OKAY! ~ Swap partners will be assigned within a few minutes. Thanks for signing up for this fun swap. I've read through some of the 1's and 3's (on the few) and am throwing caution to the wind and am including those who got them. Some are not so recent anyway. I also want to give newcomers a chance here. BUT: if you flake I will NEVER EVER permit you to be in one of my swaps again. And if you are flaked on, you must first communicate then if nothing changes, rate your flaker-partner a 1 and I will angel for you. I make a point of no one being flaked on in my swaps. (I've been flaked on and it is most annoying!) Sorry to sound like a harsh parent here, but why be here on a swap site and not swap?????????????????? For those of you who have stellar ratings, you got them by being stellar swappers~ I love you all! :-)

Just sent out my PC to my partner. Sadly, I thought I had made it to the PO in time to mail it right inside at the desk, but I just missed the post office, as they closed 10 minutes before I got there, so I placed my card into the pick up box in front. However, the next pickup isn't until Monday at 4pm, so even though I did mail mine, it most likely won't be actually postmarked until 1/7, possibly even 1/8 since it has to be stamped and sorted at the main facility about an hour away. Hope my partner understands. It will certainly get there way before the deadline, anyway. Have a GREAT weekend, everyone and kerrydwynn, thanks for hosting a fun swap! You're the best!
