What's Your Word For 2013?

Every year now for a few years I have instead of making a long list of New Year Resolutions; I take some time to reflect on the past year and what it is that I have accomplished, overcome, triumphed at, failed at, etc. I just do a whole life review of myself you could say. Christine Kane is a woman who I first heard this from and perhaps you've heard of her. What she offers you is a "Word of the Year Discovery Tool" which will guide you to what word you want to represent you in the upcoming new year.

****Here are a few things that are in this Discovery Tool in finding YOUR WORD for 2013 1) "Allow yourself to shine through in your word. Let it be totally you." 2) "When the word you choose is authentically you – then you’ll be continually surprised at what it teaches you throughout the year!" 3) "Your word is meant to teach you about you. It will often teach you about how you block your attraction and thwart your creative powers. It sometimes teaches you in paradox. Awareness is key. This means that everything in your life can be a teacher – including your own reactions to the things.****

There is so much more to this than these few lines. So what is the swap and what does YOUR word of the year have to do with it? For this swap you have a choice - your choice not your partners choice to create something that incorporates this WORD on it.

Your choices are: ****Bookmark,**** ****Small 6x6 scrapbook layout,**** ****ATC or a**** ****Handmade Card****

So you will have one (1) partner that you will send one of the 4 choice crafts to with your word of the year. Tell your partner why you chose this word and what it means to you. Incorporate it all in your craft.
