Description:

Posted Dec. 27, 2012.

We've had a month off since NaNo ended. So with some fresh eyes and a new year, let's either finish writing that NaNo novel if you didn't win OR editing it if you did win.

Your project doesn't have to be the NaNo 2012 novel. If you have an unfinished or unedited NaNoWriMo project from some other year, feel free to use it.

We did a first draft in 30 days, so use the 31 days of January 2013 to finish or to edit.

Post below what you plan to do.

Send your partner a note or letter telling her/him what you accomplished AND include a flat surprise. This shouldn't cost more than a stamp or two to mail.

Snail mail. International. Group membership.

I didn't win, so my goal for January is to finish, "A Hero for Summer," my NaNo 2012 novel.

I won, but 50,000 words does not a novel make! I have another 40k or so to write, and took December off. I MUST finish this novel in January and move into edit mode in February. I have to be ready to write another novel for Camp NaNo in April. :)

I won with 60806 words, but most of it is things I'm gonna delete. I have a plan to finish this story during January and edit it before summer.

My NaNo update was mailed out to my partner today. Enjoy!

I finished my novel with 51625 words. I have since added about 15 pages. I am not editing it right now, but am writing a side story which further develops my main character. I don't know if i will include the current writing in the original story or just use it as a backup.
