Spring Mug Rug Swap (Beginner Friendly)

This swap is meant to help those who are practicing their quilting skills as well as those with more experience who just want a fun quick project. You will create a mug rug (usually around 5" X 8") for one partner. If you want inspiration, check out the many examples on google, flickr or pinterest. This is senders choice, however I thought it would be nice to have a spring theme to take the winter blues away. :-) Due to shipping costs, I am restricting this to Canada and USA for this swap.

Try to make something that you would enjoy receiving. On the other hand, this is for beginners, so please rate accordingly (gently please). Have fun!

For clarification, I thought that I would give a more specific idea of size for the mug rug: How about minimum 5" X 8" and maximum 6" X 10". Here is a link to some patterns and ideas too:
