Mail Art Sender's Choice

One of my favorite things to receive in the mail is a mail-art envelope. Mail art can be interpreted so many different ways and I love to see how other swappers create mail art. Gives me great new ideas!

For this swap you will have 2 partners and you will create a piece of mail art--sender's choice--for each of your partners. Inside each envelope you will include an inexpensive flat surprise (stickers, memo sheets, swap cards, faux postage, a handmade envelope, etc.)--anything flat and inexpensive.

Mail art can be interpreted in lots of different ways--you don't necessarily need to create a mixed-media masterpiece!
Some suggestions: handmade envelope, rubber stamping, embossing, painting, drawing, zentangling, stenciling, collage, or a combination of any of these or any other techniques you prefer.

Requirements:

• 2 pieces of mail art (1 to each partner)

• include a flat surprise in each

• must be mailable size (no smaller than 3.5" x 5")

• must use postage stamps to mail--they add to the beauty!

Because designs are sender's choice, you can get started BEFORE partners are assigned. I would advise avoiding religious-themed mail art or anything gory since these are the 2 things most often mentioned in the "do not send" section on profiles.
