Art Journaling Uncovered #1

Our first page, yay! This is going to be a relatively easy prompt to open the gate and get us going: close to my heart. You can go as meaningful or as light as you wish; dedicate your page to a departed loved one, a cause you are particularly passionate about, a hobby you're crazy about (something other than art?), your happy place, anything you love or hold dear. Incorporating words is encouraged, but there's no pressure to add any if you feel your art speaks for itself.

The Nitty Gritty:

• one page to one partner
• 5.5" x 8.5" in size
• minimum card stock or similar weight paper

Keep in mind when creating your page that your partner may wish to bind the pages they collect at some point, so avoid putting any words or other important bits within at least 1/2" of the left side of the page.

Other than those things, you are free to create however you wish, using whatever media/techniques you choose! Don't forget to sign and date your journal page when completed.
