Okay, I'm in! About week 3... I don't think I will get your week 2 letter quite that fast. Maybe we should make the deadline for week 3 two weeks after week 2 to give the letter time to get to me. To give you a little info, Bahamas mail kinda sucks. Lol. We don't get door delivery like in civilized countries. Haha. We have postboxes. I share one with my great-grandmother and other relatives, and the box is checked on Thursdays only. Just thought I'd explain the two factors that cause delays in my receipt of mail.

How about this, We just try to get our stuff out when we can. Email me about how I should fill out the custom form. I normally mark the "gift" box, but if you have to pay a tax on it, let me know what I can change it up! Emails are better for me because I get notifications, where-as I don't normally check the swap page as often :)

Week 1 is on the way! You should get it pretty soon. I sent it with my parents to mail from Florida. They're there for a few days.

That should be fine. My aunt said there's mail for me, and one is a parcel post notice, so that's probably it, waiting for me to pick it up. Hopefully on Monday I can.

Oh very cool! I have your "week 2" ready, but I like being able to respond to your letter first before I finish it up. I'll play it by ear, but I"m thinking I'll send it out no later than Monday, if I don't get anything, but I'm thinking this weekend will yield something in my mail box.

Hmmm... You said it was a box? It is probably being held at the dreaded "parcel post". Haha. If it's there, they will make me open it in front of them, but don't worry. It will work out. I tend to have to go there for things every 2 weeks or so, so it's not a big deal. You should see the place. I have no idea what kind of order they put things in, but it is NOT alphabetical. They take quite a while to find things, and then I have to open it for customs inspection. It's kind of hilarious, but kind of sad at the same time, what with it being 2013 and all. Haha.

Oh man.....I'm soooooo sorry! I should have just sent you some flat things. My second swap to you is in a flat packet and I should have done something similar the first time around. Sorry, but the description on the form does NOT match the contents of the box. What's the point of sending you a gift when it's taxed to death?! Like, you have to pay for your own present. That is lame! Sorry girl! I'm not sure the package was worth the hassle. I hope the second one gets to you quickly so at least you can enjoy that one!

No worries! The fun would be sucked out swapping if people felt restricted like that. I take it as a sunk cost. Haha. It's not a big deal at all. Send whatever you want! Just include an invoice that lists what you include with a really low value like $1.00. Then I won't end up having to pay much for it. Really, don't feel restricted. I don't wanna miss out. Haha.

I didn't make it to pick up my mail today. Hopefully tomorrow I will get to pass by aunt's and get everything. Either your package will be there, or a notice to go to the parcel post office. And I can do that by Tuesday the latest. So I will be a bit late in sending week 3. I'll have it mailed by Thursday. (I'm off Tuesdays and Thursdays these days, so that's when I can get stuff done, unless I get sent out on work errands.

That's hilarious. Don't worry. I didn't read it that way. Sometimes I catch myself overusing smiley faces. It drives me crazy, but it always seems justifiable in every circumstance. Lol. And I use "awesome" far too much, but I always mean it. But that's what they all say, right? Hahaha.

I JUST saw the part where you got the etsy thingy. YAY! I was thinking it combined a few things, and was hoping it would be a hit. I was a little worried because I didn't know what material it was. My fingers were crossed it wasn't just cheap copy paper.

No it was a legitimate bookmark, all shiny and fancy. I love them! They are so bright and spring-time ish! I hope you get your stuff soon!!!! I feel awful for the shipping lag time and postal restrictions. The good thing is that I write looooong letters so you should feel that it's worth the wait!

I went to the parcel post today to collect the packages they had for me. I got 4 notices in the mail, but they only found 3 packages. The guy said they often make mistakes, writing up two cards for one thing. He said if there is something for me, they'll send another notice when they see it on the shelves next month. Hilarious. And annoying. Oh, third world living! None of the 3 are from you. Maybe they'll be in this week's mail pile. fingers crossed

WTF?! I'm so pissed! I'm sorry this swap is so stressful on your end. I totally mailed them to you! I promise! I have the receipts and everything! Keep me posted (pun intended) so that we can modify as needed!

Don't worry! It'll all get here. The mail here really sucks. I'm almost 100% sure the problem is on this end. Seriously, you should see our main post office. I'll take a picture next time. It's no well-oiled machine. More like rusty and sputtering. None of this is your fault. Don't feel bad. I'm getting anxious, but in a good way! :) I'm really looking forward to getting them. Yeah, my weekly haul is pretty decent. :) I'm going to start cutting back on a swaps a bit though. I'm going to focus more on private swaps, and just do little ones. [She says, knowing temptation will knock and she'll probably answer.]

I don't know what happened, but my aunt sent me 3 more parcel post notices. Maybe she went back to the post since Thursday, or went early for this week. No idea.
