Description:

Add a textile texture to ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) by using fiber or yarn. You can glue the fiber in a collage, weave it into the design, or create a tassel on one end. Let your imagination guide you to use as much fiber as much or as little fiber as you want. Consider adding a bit of shiny or glittery threads in celebration of winter holidays.

Each participant will make 2 ATCs to send to 3 partners for a total of 6 cards. Please only sign up if you have good feedback from past swaps. Newbies and International swappers are Welcome.

The only rule is that an ATC must be 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches in size.

To Teresa and Karyn,

I just received your cards. They are all amazing. I'm a new ATC crafter and your cards are a serious challenge to me to continue to improve.

Karyn I love the frog on one of the cards and the beautiful envelope they came in!

Teresa, your vintage inspired cards are sweet and so perfectly crafted - do you cut your own cards or are they precut??

Thanks to both you, I love them.

Linie - I noticed that your note above indicated that you'd be sending cards to "sandra, peter and kris" : it was my understanding that you were one of my swap partners. I sent cards to you posted Dec. 4 (along with cards to Sibyl and Sherri). This is my first swap on Swap Bot - - so, perhaps I'm a bit confused! Could someone clarify?? Has anyone recieved my cards? Thanks from this newbie! Judith

Thanks to Beverly and Bonnie for your beautiful (and furry and sparkly) cards! They all arrived safely today and will soon find a home on my Christmas tree - Judith

Miss JJjjj more likely to be me confusing who I send to whom..... lol..... but think its more likely confusing to you beacuse we dont receive from, who we send to, if you follow me! We are all jumbled up and receive from someone different to those we send to..........hope that makes sense. Mind you I could still have cocked it up, so best you do ask me in future if in doubt !!! :)

I got some wonderful cards from Peter C today, however there were no markings as to what swap they go to. As best I can figure it is for this swap and if so let me tell you they are AWESOME! I love the santa one - it is stamped or drawn onto ribbon and glitter on it - I love it! Great job! ~~~Karyn

I have to say, it never occurred to me to do anything other than festive as in christmassy cards but I got 2 stunners from Sybil today....in Native Indian flavour and they are just fabulous! I love them, Im very interested in American Indian and OZ Aboriginal cultures so they were really spot on! Thankyou so much x

I only ever received one set of these from Peter which again were wonderful! What a shame so many lates or flakes on Swap-Bot. It is dissapointing to send so much and get so little in return all the time. ~~~Karyn

Had one of my own turn up late in the post so dont give up hope? It is possible that theyr lost in tranist as opposed to not sent? Ask your swap partner directly maybe? In another group the late/not sent issue was commented on, and the swap-mom said she'd complained by mail once to someone and found out that the lady had died and her husband couldnt get onto her email to tell email buddies! So maybe dont always think the worst? !!!!
