CAMRYN'S BIRTHDAY PROJECT

This is the second swap I am holding for CAMRYN. I am hoping to get the biggest number of postcards and cards for her because is it her BIRTHDAY :O) CAMRYN's birthday is on April 17. She will be 5 years old.

The picture above is with her grandmother Marsha and her little brother. Her brother is her best friend. Grandma has been reading postcards to CAMRYN when she visits.

CAMRYN's story touches me to the core. I want this child to know we care.

CAMRYN HUNTER is a tiny little girl who was diagnosed with Acute Myelod Leukemia in 2011. I know about her precious battle because her grandparents are my neighbours and friends.

The cancer was a rare form and the treatments have taken quite a toll on the life of this child and her family. She received two bone marrow transplants in 2012. It appears that Leukemia is in remission, but platelets are not being created and the doctors are now suspecting an immuno related illness. She has been and will remain in the hospital for more treatments.

The project I have create for her is simple. I want CAMRYN to have her own postcard collection.

For this swap, you will send a postcard or birthday handmade card to CAMRYN. This has to be suitable for a small child.

Please write a simple child prayer, a song, a rhyme, a riddle, a child's drawing or a little message to make her smile on her birthday!

In the first swap, a lot of people were sending small items to CAMRYN. If you chose to do so, stickers or little ornaments are best. She can share with her brother and make crafts. If you would rather send CAMRYN a birthday card, you can - handmade or store bought is fine.
