New Embroiderers Welcome! Embroidery doodles are an opportunity to try out different stitches. They can be free-form and geometric, or of an actual drawing or picture. They can be one color or many colors. Think of this as the Zentangle of embroidery (Examples of Zentangles). Be creative and have fun. Just to keep the playing field level, please embroider on a 6" x 6" (15.25 x 15.25 cm), 100% cotton piece of fabric, leaving at least a 1/4" seam allowance (unstitched border around the edges). I like this. Watching for now but reminds me of a college experience of "free stitchery".

I'll have to pass this round. I already have a few needlework swaps I'm working on. Don't want to get too overloaded. Would love to do it in the future though.
