Description:

We've weathered a long winter and, in some parts of the country, are still in an uncertain spring. But we all know summer is on the way -- unless you're one of our Australian members. (The summer's over and winter's coming.)

For this swap, please write a letter to your partner describing what you are planning to do this summer. If you're going to enjoy your garden, tell us about it, if you hope to take a trip, describe it, if you're staying home and doing crafts, tell us what they are. Add postcards or photos to explain what you're talking about. Tell us about what goes on in the summer where you live -- like farmer's markets, holiday parades. cook-outs. Let's get to know one another's part of the world in summer mode.

The letter can be hand written or typed should be at least a page and can be as long as you want. The chat-ier you are the better; it's a get acquainted kind of letter. What you and your family do in the summer. Why you like it or don't like it. That kind of thing.

it's international because it's a group swap, but it should only be one of those lovely new round stamps if it turns out to be international.
