Hello fellow swappers, Inspired by the "Fandom in a bag" group by @KateKintail I thought it might be a nice idea to start a similar series in this group: Except we won't be using different fandoms but just themes that pop into my (or your) mind. The idea is to take any sort of bag (a ziplock bag, e.g.), that is at least 26,5 x 28,0 cm big and stuff it with goodies corresponding to the theme of the current swap. The first swap will run with the theme: Your favourite animal Everybody will list his/her favourite animal (or animals) in the comment section. Once partners are assigned, go there and check what your partner wrote - check their profiles, too, or maybe even send a message. You need to find at least 10 items to fill the bag with! There's no need to make this swap overly expensive - the main idea is to make the bag look really full. Not every item needs to be expensive - you can handmake things, take things from your stash, put in free bookmarks or postcards - just try to make it look nice and varied - a bag full of paper would be a bit boring, right? There's lots of time for putting together and sending out your bags, so get creative! If the first swap is a success, I'd love to host a series with different themes, but let's first see how this one goes. Any questions? Ask! I hope, lots of you will join! :) PS: I will check profiles, although as a group swap there shouldn't be many options for unreliable swappers to join. EDIT: Due to one of our swappers having a little trouble getting together her parcel in time I've extended the sending deadline. My favourite animals by far are ravens! However, I also like big cats, mostly black panthers.

Ohh love this idea! My favorite animal is a raven or crow too! Black cats are also my favorite but I've always had a love and fascination with ravens :) happy for mine to be a mixture of both.

I love parrots! And any kind of bird, but especially parrots. I also love cheetahs and african antelopes (okapis, bongos, kudu, sables...). If you can't find those any kind of big cat would be beautiful.

i love birds... especially little songbirds and eagles... and of course any of my pets (cats, dogs, rabbits and a horse :)) i think that makes it pretty easy for my partner :)

Great, that there are a few people in the swap now! I'll check profiles tomorrow and assign partners. @rngstgstil Items of course can be nicely handmade, if that's okay with your partner. If their profile says: I hate handmade items, you probably shouldn't send them, but normally people don't say that and I'd say: Handmade is fine as long as it's pretty/well crafted. :)(Plus, I love handmade items, so I'd always vote for handmade when in doubt ;))

Oh this sounds like a lot of fun! I absolutely love dogs. (If you want to know what kind I have for some reason they are on my profile.) However just about any kind of dog related stuff I will love. To make it a little easier I also like flamingos, peacocks, and zebras. Just incase you needed a few options for me ;)
