It was a dark and stormy night (round 1) QUICK

This is a pass along story. We will be doing several rounds if there is enough interest. How to play:

1. Using the first line It was a dark and stormy night... write a paragraph or two to begin the story. It can be any genre (that's family friendly) and anything can happen within your paragraph(s). This will be your story, so make it good! Add your swap-bot name at the end so we can track who each story belongs to.

2. Send it to your partner.

3. When you get the swap from your partner, add a paragraph or two (think 100-200 words) onto the story. Do not edit anything the original author wrote, just add your section onto the bottom of it. Be sure to save this because you'll need it. Don't forget to add your name to the email so that we know who collaborated.

4. Sign up for round 2 to continue the fun.

Please only sign up for this if you think you can do all the rounds. Remember that this is just for fun. There is absolutely nothing serious about this. Do not sign up for this swap if you think you will get mad about someone changing the idea of the story. That's half the fun.

Try to keep the story going if you can. We will shoot for a five round story to start. If we end up with lots of interest and need longer to finish the stories up, we can extend it.

If you wish to receive your finished story, be sure to include a note stating how to get it back to you. The simplest way would probably be to include your email address. I will also facilitate private swaps at the very end if you would prefer to go that route.

Minimum 4.8 rating. No unexplained 1's or 3's. Newbies are welcome to join. This should be an easy one, so please don't flake. If someone has a problem, I will angel. If you want to appeal this, message me and we'll talk.
