SMA: Interactive Mail Art

Create for your partner one piece of interactive mail art. Interactive in this case means that your partner will need to do something on their end to reveal, figure out or finish the piece of mail art you send them (something other than simply opening an envelope and seeing what's inside).

Examples:

• a handmade postcard incorporating a game, e.g., a word search, crossword puzzle, hidden picture seek & find
• a message written in glow-in-the-dark ink
• an altered puzzle
• something with moveable parts, flaps or "doors" opening to reveal more
• a scavenger hunt zine
• a letter written on a beach ball, which your partner then has to inflate to read...

This is really an anything-goes swap. Handmade postcard, assemblage, zine, an altered item sent naked - you name it. You'll be given quite a bit of time to work out something interesting. Have fun!
