S: Send SOMETHING, For Goodness' Sake!

Send a little package of goodness to your partner following the guidelines of the rhyme:

Something old,

Something new,

Something borrowed,

Something blue.

• To keep the cost of postage down, let's make our somethings flat and send them in an envie.

• Please include a note or tag each item so the recipient can see how your swap parallels the rhyme.

• Don't forget to include your username and swap title in the package!

Here are some ideas to help you get started thinking about this swap. This is not an exhaustive list. Feel free to be creative, and please do read through your partner's profile for additional ideas.

SOMETHING OLD: This can be an item you've had in your stash but never used, cancelled postage stamps, something made from vintage materials or a flat object found in an antique shop. The trick here is to make sure you send treasures not trash!

SOMETHING NEW: Look through your partner's profile to find something tailored to her preferences. You might send a new sheet of stickers, make her some new address labels or create an ATC in a theme she enjoys.

SOMETHING BORROWED: You won't be sending something your partner will need to return. Instead, you'll borrow intellectual property. You can send something like a favorite recipe you've borrowed from a cookbook, a poem you've borrowed from a magazine or make a craft using an idea you've borrowed from somewhere on the Bot.

SOMETHING BLUE: This is self-explanatory and, as long as you think your partner will like it, anything blue fits the bill.
