Description:
The first time I ever made handmade cupcake decorations was for a SwapBot swap. We were trading cupcake-themed items and I noticed my partner loved kawaii (all things Japanese and cute) so I made her a set of kawaii cupcake decorations I cut and glued myself. I started to make them in all different themes- sharks, tattoos, Elvis, you name it and selling them on Etsy. They're still some of my biggest sellers. So I'd like to do a handmade cupcake topper swap because A) It's fun to make them B) It's fun to get them and C) It couldn't be easier or cheaper to do. Here's the drill: You'll made two sets of 12 cupcake toppers for your swap partner. One set will be whatever you feel like making, anything in the world. The other set will be influenced by something you find in your partner's profile- or if you're nosey, perhaps on their My Space page or in their Flickr photos. The decorations can be edible or not, whatever you like to do. I send my toppers out in a sturdy bubble mailer marked "Do Not Bend" and I suggest you do the same, or use a small box. If you've never made toppers before or aren't sure what they're all about you can see photos of some of mine here: http://tiny.cc/toppers I'm giving you a LONG time to send these out because a lot of us are bakers and this is wedding season. well, I messed up! somehow I misread the instructions and only sent out 12 toppers INSTEAD of 24! so..

I hope no one else made the same mistake!
