Free Art Friday Swap: Your Forte

This is the second FAF swap in this monthly series!! Hope you can join! During the warmer months people are out and about and in new places, so to place a piece of free art out in your community for someone to find is a perfect warm weather activity!! So hopefully your October will stay dry and somewhat warm!

We're stepping it up a bit... you will have 2 partners this month!

In this swap you will create a piece of art that YOU excel at!.. YOUR CHOICE.. and send it to your partner.Your partner will then in turn place YOUR work somewhere in THEIR community for someone to take home and love! Give it away for FREE! Pics will need to be taken and sent to me so I can post on flickr and FB.

Free Art Friday is an active movement all over the world. Each Friday artists in communities 'drop' a piece of art for another to find. It's a 'pay it forward', make someone's day, kind of thing.

This is a really cool thing to do. And with all of the electronic media we have today it's easy to track your art... simply ask the finder to message you when they find it.

So.. to recap:

Google Free Art Friday (or check out my FB page)

Create a piece of ART (your forte!) for your partner and send.

When you recieve your swap, place in your community with a tag that explains it's "Free Art" for the taking!

Take a pic and email it to me and I will post on Flickr and my FB page.

Also... please write in the comments below what style of art you will be sending... I'm curious!! :)
