I wish I could sign up! It would be really neat to do a pink swap in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month (which is actually this month, October)!

I am hoping people will find unique and interesting textured items for this one rather than plian white envelopes, tissue paper, or paper.

Yes , DO NOT just send 10 papers, or envies!! Items Must be different, mix it up!! If we just wanted white paper, we could go to our desk and get it for ourselves, put some thought into what you send!!

It would be cool if I got snow/snowflake/snowman/Christmas themed white things, but I'm cool with anything. This is such a fun idea!

What about vellum items? I guess they would be more clear than white, but I thought I'd ask.

Lace hankies, doilies, elastic, address labels, pearls, buttons, shells, dogwood blossoms, daisies, socks, snowflakes, snowmen, cotton balls, silk anything, hair ribbons/elastics....just sayin'....

Any chance an upcoming one of these will be open to newbies? I really loved the concept of this one, a treasure hunt for the giver and surprise gifts for the receiver. Very creative concept... possibilities are endless. It would be great to send things with different textures that are white.

I would love to see a yellow swap in the future. It makes me smile. :)

How wide is the range for shades of white? Like are cream, eggshell and ivory shades of white okay? Between items, some may have a different hue or tint. On their own, we'd agree it was white. But, next to each other, some will be bright white, some not. I ask because I got educated on my trade of RED items last time where, in the eye of the beholder, some items looked more pink than red. I don't want my swap partner to be disappointed. Thanks.

I don't expect all items to be snow white , just don't try to pass tan, or light brown..white does come in all shades, so send what you see fit!

Is it okay if there's some other colors on the item? Like, I have some chapstick, but there's blue writing on the tube.

I must be doing something wrong. I always send way more than the minimum 10 for the last two color swaps and both times people didn't seem to like my selections. I sent USPS Priority Mail Small size boxes, too. Not just flat items in an envelope. What am I doing wrong? Any feedback will be appreciated or I may stop participating in color swaps altogether. Thanks.
