Carpe Librum ~ Books for a Book Club #2

It's Book Club time again!!

Just a week ago, my computer crashed and the only way I was able to get it to work was to factory reset it. I lost everything, including the list of books we had for the Book Club. I was going to do another gathering of books anyways, so I'm just doing it sooner.

With this swap, we'll gather up all the books on everyone's TBR pile, and I'll organize them. I use the lists to pick out books that multiple people want to read, and then use those books for our upcoming Book Club Reads.

But first, we need books to choose from.

For this swap, you will send your partners, via email, TWO lists ~

• 30 books on your to-read pile that you haven't gotten around to yet (no picture books please, middle school/young adult and up is fine)

• 20 of your favorite authors

• If you joined the swap previously, please do not send all the same books (if possible). It's likely we read some of them already

• Remember that this is for a book club, so a diverse books are great, but keep in mind if a book on your list is very obscure, it's likely we won't be able to use it and I like to make sure I get at least one book in for everyone who sends one.
• Don't forget, after you send your list to your partner, please send the list to me as well. After the swap starts, I will email everyone so your have my email addy.

Since it's so many books and authors, reasons why you want to read it, or why you love that author, aren't necessary but you can certainly include that. After you have sent to your partner, please send your list to me as well so I can create a list of books to choose from. The books from these will start in our DECEMBER Book Club and I'll use them into next year. Lots of time to spend so you can really take a good look at your TBR pile and gather the ones you'd really like to read.
