Description:

One of my favorite things to receive in the mail is chocolate that I've never tried before.

For this swap you send 100 grams of chocolate to your partner. It can be one large bar, or two bars, or several smaller bars, or a box of chocolate, or whatever you have in mind.

Make it something special: try to buy chocolate only available in your country; no chocolate that's available everywhere. And please check out your partners' profile to be aware of his/her dislikes and allergies. Please note that this is for purchased chocolate, not for homemade.

I will be checking all profiles. Here's what's required to join this swap:

  • No recent negative ratings. All ratings must be responded to.

  • At least 10 ratings for MAILED swaps.

I will ban as I see fit. If you think there's something I might see on your profile that will make me uneasy (eg. haven't swapped in awhile, few too many 3s) send me a PM explaining your situation and I'll decide from there. I don't want to be a jerk but I've just gotten weary of getting flaked and I want to protect others from getting flaked too.

OH YUM! This swap is right up my alley!

I don't like dark chocolate though. Unless it is with marzipan.

Would love to have a small variety, not one big one :D

liveve308 03/ 9/2014 #

Please send a couple of small things instead of a big block of regular milk chocolate, thanks<3

I always Google beforehand to see what chocolate isn't available in the country I am assigned. Love these swaps!

Please note that this is sender's choice. Yes, you can request a certain type of chocolate and several, smaller bars but it's up to the sender what you get. As long as you get 100 grams you cannot rate poorly. Thanks!

ccap 03/ 9/2014 #

(assuming the sender follows the other rules as well - eg. purchased and the time rules.)

Only chocolate? can v have candies also?? please tell as its not mentioned candy here

ccap 03/10/2014 #

The swap is for chocolate.

liveve308 03/10/2014 #

Well of course it's senders choice but I didn't know it's not okay to ask.......right? I was just merely suggesting that I'd love to have a few to try out rather than only one, that way there's more to enjoy ;) if my partner wants to send me a block of milk chocolate that's fine as well, surely I'll rate a 5 as it's okay.... I don't get why it's so bad to make a "wish" like that? Just ignore it then folks.

ccap 03/11/2014 #

@liveve308 Oh no, I'm perfectly fine with you posting your desires on here. No problem at all. It's just that as a fairly regular host I often get questions about "how should I rate?" so I wanted to be completely clear about that.

Lizard 03/11/2014 #

I like to send a little extra - so I might send lollies (candy) for an extra. ^.^ Especially as we have 'flat rate' and 100g costs the same as 499g to send.

Lizard 03/21/2014 #

I won't be doing these again. That cost $20.20 to send. Flat rate for 100 - 500 grams, so I thought I may as well make it worth it and sent my partner 350 grams worth of yum. I hope she likes them. I checked her profile for preferences.

If Savanna82 can get in contact and/or rate me for this swap asap, would be much appreciated. Haven't heard a thing!

I don't receive any chocolates yet... :( I'm so disappointed.
