Wacky, Silly and Unusual Holidays - Europe/May

Craftygirl has run this as a USA only monthly swap for 6 years. I loved the idea so much that I asked her if I could run a European version and I'm very grateful to her for saying yes!

There is a holiday for every day of the year. This swap needs us all to use the same holiday calendar. Go to this website for the calendar month of May. http://holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/may.htm

Using this calendar, you'll pick 4 different holidays from the month, you choose which four, and send something to your partner that has to do with the holidays you choose. It can be a news article, craft, purchased item, etc., just mix it up a little. Anything that comes to mind that represents that holiday.

In May we have Mother Goose Day, Save the Rhino Day, Star Wars Day, Lost Sock Day and International Museum Day -- and lots more too. I'm already getting ideas for fun things to send my partner -- what about you? Use your imagination!

You will send your partner a total of 4 items, each one from a different holiday. After you have collected the 4 items, please send them all together to your partner by the deadline of 1 May. Include a note or card telling your partner which item is for which holiday!

The swap is sender's choice so you can start thinking about what to send even before the deadline! But obviously check your partner's profile so that you can make your parcel something they are really really pleased to get.

This swap is Europe only and is open to anyone with 4.95 ratings or better, and no recent no-sends or lateness. New swappers with a full profile and at least two rated swaps are welcome.
