Description:

For this swap either make an envelope or use a store bought envelope and decorate it using things like deco or washi tape, stickers, collage, drawing, painting, stamps, or anything else you can think of. Then put samples of at least 10 different washi tapes inside the envelope. All samples should be at least 12 inches in length.

One easy way to do washi tape samples is to take a playing card or ATC blank and wrap it completely in clear (or slick) packaging tape. This will make it so the washi tape does not stick to the card. Then measure off at least 12 inches of the washi tape and wrap around the tape-covered card. For this swap, you'll need two of these to be able to fit 10 different samples on, or you could just use a longer piece of thin cardboard.

Remember to include your swap-bot username and the name of the swap. Also remember to rate when you receive.

This swap is newbie friendly, because I know it is hard to find swaps to join as a newbie, and also it should be easy to complete and earn ratings. However, I will be looking at every profile and removing any swappers that I feel will cause a problem, such as swappers with recent unresolved 1's, or unexplained 3's. I will set the ratings at 4.9 with unrated swappers allowed for newbies. Please have a well filled out profile.

I will angel if necessary.

This swap is USA only! I will be hosting an International version as well.

Please don't hesitate to ask questions if I've missed something or if something is unclear. Thanks for joining and I hope everyone enjoys receiving their decorated envies and washi tape samples!

Is this strictly washi tape or can we use other deco tapes as well. I have so many cute ones but they are not all washi. Just want to be clear as I start getting my stuff ready to send. Thanks:)

You can use deco tape to decorate the envelope, but the samples should all be washi tape, unless you're sending the deco tape as extras. I personally love deco tape, but I know a lot of people don't for some reason. :)

Ok thanks:)

When it comes to picking our washi to send, does it have to go along the lines of favorites of your partner? As my washi collection isn't very big yet, what do we do if we don't have washi that goes with our partners likes? Can't wait to try this! It will be my very first swap on here, and I luv washi! Lol

@JoJosCraftCreations This is sender's choice, so it is up to you what samples you send. :)
