Description:

As there are 2 paste n pass swaps happening, please be sure you send the right one.. This is for the unsectioned one, ( no boundaries) Even if you didn't join before now, feel free to join this round, as this will continue for some time.

If this is your first round: For this paste and pass, you will take a 7 x 5 sturdy piece of backing such as a cereal box or something of similar weight. You will do a background on it such as paint, glue down a few pieces of background paper, stamp, or the like. On the address side, put 5 spaces where the people who work on your card can add their name and a short note. In space number one, put your mailing address so the last person to add to your card knows where to send it home. Address it to your partner and send naked. Address it in such a way that the next person can easily cover their address with their partners.

If this is your 2nd - 4thround: The second person will add a few elements such as some collage pieces, paint, ink, stamps, whatever they choose, keeping in mind to leave enough work to be done by future partners. Each partner will add their bits and mail it naked to the next person.

If this is your 5th round: You may receive a card that will be due to be sent home when you are done adding your bits. If this is the case, you won't have a card to send on in the next round, so you may create another of your own if you wish or sit out the next round or rounds.

In the event you are wanting to opt out of future swaps, please contact me. Your card will be removed from the swap and I will arrange for your card to be sent to you in it's current state and you will have to send the card you have in your possession to either me, or the person who had your card so that they have one to pass onward.

I have an ongoing record of who has whose card at any given round.

I have done the other paste and passes where each person works on a section but I don't care for them much so if anyone would care to host one of those types, let me know and I will promote you to officer. This is international as with all swaps I host .. I hate to leave anyone out. Remember to take care when adding to someone's card...KEEP EVERYTHING YOU ADD FLAT and safely secured to keep the card safe in transit. It will be in the postal system naked 5 times!! ALL CARDS MUST BE SENT NAKED...NO ENVIES OR PLASTIC

Lets have fun with this one!

Note! I can never be sure when choosing dates that everyone will have the one from the previous round in time, so if you don't receive the one you are to send on in time, please let me know and I will adjust the send by date to allow for that. I want to keep a good pace for these but international mail is so slow!

US Postal Service charges extra when postcards are put in plastic. They have to be hand cancelled. Also, bumpy bits create a need for additional postage, too. Be careful you're not sticking your partner with postage due.

Thanks for editing Shannon.

Hi Shannon - (newbie here…!) So I received a finished round 4 from a card started by Susi, which I will add bits and send back to her. So am I correct in understanding that I don't need to sign up for Susi's card, but if I want to start a new one, then I would sign up? Thanks for clarifying!

Hi Gina, if I remember correct, Susi made her card so that only 4additions would finish it. In that case, you don't have to sign up for round 5 as you wouldn't have anything to send onward, but if you wanted to sign up, you are more than welcome to send out another for yourself. A lot of people will find themselves in this situation after this round.

Thanks Shannon!!
