PVT: Splitting Atoms

We will send one piece of mail art and one notecard made from the same zessellated tessangle design. Two months have been allotted for the completion of this swap due to the dangerous nature of the process.

• Begin with an ATC.

• Morph it into a tessellating shape.

• Trace it enough times to cover a piece of 8 1/2 X 11 inch paper.

• Morph that shape into smaller pieces and fit them into the traced shapes. The number of times this is done is up to the individual artist.

• Draw zentangled designs inside of the smaller shapes.

• When the entire page is done, photocopy it twice.

• Alter each of the two pages using color and/or shading to make them appear different. We won't use more than one color on either page.

• Use one of the pages to create an envelope.

• Use the other page to create a notecard to fit inside of the envelope.

• Loosely attach a note to your partner inside the notecard on a separate paper so the card can be used again later.

• Mail it off and enjoy a nice chunk of chocolate to celebrate because that was hard!
