Three partners seems an awful lot when thinking about postage. Do the lists have to go snail mail?

A regular stamp will cover this in a standard envelope...at the most 60 cents if you write big and use several sheets of paper. (Each)

International (Europe) will run you about 94 cents if you write small, $1.10 if you use a lot of paper or an oddly sized envelope. (Each)

I remember doing this swap earlier this year and I loved it. I've had pretty good time reading them ..

no mittsie, we are assigned partners after the signup date ends. Swap-bot picks the partners that you send to, and then you click the button on the right that says "Partners you send to"

Would Two first class stamps work to mail one or two sheets internationally, do you think?

I´m not familiar with the us mailing costs, but I think it would be cheap.Yestzerday i get a letter from USA with 3 sheets and stamped with 47 Cent.

i prefer mine handwritten, i know is a lot to write, i do all mine handwritten and if my partners do i will for sure give you hearts, D.

I wouldn't mind hand writing mine out. I love to write. I keep an inspiration journal with quotes, poems, stories, etc., anything that inspires me. And this is in addition to my regular journal and blogging.

i would just like to share that these swaps with lists are fun, i have done lots like this one and they can be as personal as you want to make them.

i am sorry if my partner prefers hand written but mine will be typed. though its not meant as a criticism perhaps MJjunkie86 might like to think about those of us with health issues such as mine or arthritis or those who have totally illegible hand writing. i have had letters hand written that are impossible to decipher.i have fibromyalgia and it is hard in the hands to write three copies out.

to the person who said it wasnt personal to get a photocopy then i would say i send my same list out to all my partners but i personalise it by printing it on on paper that is my partners favourite colour or if they like animals for example i might send their copy on paper with a dogs on it or decorate the paper with stickers etc. that they like. there are plenty of ways to personalise the copies for each partner. change the font style and size of print and make each copy different that way.

to the person who said that 100 things is a little personal remember that you choose what to list so you have control on just how personal it might be. you can go in depth or you can just list small facts like what your fav food is and so forth.

this isnt a criticism its just observation and my sharing. i just wanted to encourage the swap host after the comments others had made and i wanted to encourage those who are yet to sign up that this swap will be fun and very positive.

well i have a disability as well, bursitis which is 10 times more painful than arthritis and also arthritis in my hands but i do handwrite my stuff as is more personal. it takes me longer but hopefully is more appreciated than typing, plus typing also aggrevaites arthritis, so since i got a nasty note about me giving a heart for my partners making the effort to handwrite, i will leave this swap and good luck to the rest, typing for me is for business matters, so i find it impersonal, and not pen pal like, D.

You know, there just aren't enough opportunities in my life for me to be self-absorbed so COUNT ME IN! This sounds like a blast. I don't care if my partner types it or handwrites it or photocopies it or paints it or cuts out letters from magazines and glues them on a sheet of paper ransom-style or does a photo collage or a diorama, but please no representations in cheese (please).

in defence of me who is supposed to have written a nasty note i will share with you all what i wrote to BtrflyMoominLvr87. she has withdrawn from teh swap as she believes my note to her was nasty. you read it and make your own mind up. seeing as i have caused so much grief i ahve apologied and i shall withdraw from the swap and move on but please before any of you judge me read the note i am posting here and see if you think it is nasty. i said more than once it wasnt meant offend and at the time of writing had no idea that she also had a disability. this is what i sent her if you think it is nasty then i do apologise to you as well. it is never my intetion to offend so if any of you know this lady well please see if you can get through to her that i wasnt being awful and that i am truly sorry ......... here goes.......

hi there. please dont take this as a criticism but i read your comment on the 100 things about me swap. i thought it was a bit unfair of you to say that you would give hearts if your partners hand wrote their list. please consider that many of us find handwriting hard due to health issues. i am not chasing hearts but just remember that many of us can produce just as good a list without hand writing it. i personalise my lists by using pretty papers and embellishments when i send them out for example. if a list meets swap requirements then it is worthy of being judged for a heart by content as well as just being writtne by hand. please dont be offended by what i am saying. i just thought aht maybe if someone wrote a list out that was handwritten after reading your comment they are in for a heart even if their handwritting is too hard to read, yet someone like myself who may spend a long time presentin their list in fun way though it is typed isnt in for an w equal chance. please think about what i am trying to share. it is by no means meant to offend , i am jsut asking that you consider thsoe of us out there who have health issues. have a great day. many thanks for reading through this.

after so much discussions bout handriting or not. I have change two things. First we have now only 1 partner and second the sign up date. I hope it will be better nw for all. You can handwritten or typed. Perhaps it will helps to leave a comment here what you prefer, so your partner can choose.

ok i'm not fussed how it gets here - it could be written in wax crayon for all i care - i mean in the sense that if you've taken the time do write the list and it's readable surely that fills the requirements of the swap.

If its handwritten thats lovely because its personal but its typed then it's still personal because you've still had to sit there and type it and take time over each line, does that make sense?

for my partner .. i don't care if it's handwritten, typed, stamped .. glued, colored, whatever ..

chances are .. i will be typing my page, my hand writing can get very unreadable, and i'd rather have my partner be able to read and give me a completely 5, rather than not be able to read a thing i write and give me a 3. however i can, and will promise in return for typing .. i will not just be writing one worded answers. my answers will have stories .. or personal experiences.

Typed or hand-written is fine with me. I think my partner is sharing the same personal info either way. Life is too short to get all bent out of shape over this issue (in my opinion).

I am a newbie to this site and find these List 100 swaps sound like loads of fun. I will be using many different mediums on my list. I don't really mind what kind of list I receive as long as the person has put some type of personal effect on it. A list of 100 things on a regular white sheet of paper seems rather boring :/ My only question is, can I take a small notebook of 100 pages and put one thing on each page? Mostly I'm just wondering that as long as the list arrives with the correct amount of postage does it matter how much it weighs?

I love this idea but I'm dropping out now. Since English not is my first language I prefer to type so that I get the spelling and grammar as correct as possible, and knowing that my partner might not appreciate that (together with all the drama) makes me loose interest in participating in this. I might be back for the second round though since I've already started making a list!

there is something sweet and old fashioned about hand written letters. i plan to hand write mine and i would prefer to have a written letter as well. HOWEVER ... typed = good, too. i just want some fun mail! plus, who doesn't love reading quirky things about others?
