Short Story Journal and surprise (intense)

This swap is designed to get the creative juices flowing. It is intense and requires work and dedication.

You will have one partner. You will have sixty days (actually a few extra for decorating and mailing) to write 20 short stories in a composition book (or other journal of similar dimensions). This is not about editing or making them good, this is about just challenging yourself. That's one short story every three days. The story needs to be at least two handwritten or one typed (and glued into the journal) page.

The stories can be anything. They can be from prompts or from your imagination.

It DOES NOT have to be all handwritten. You may type a page and glue it into the journal.

It DOES need to be decorated on the front. Make a collage. Make a zentangle. Glitter it. You don't have to be artistic, just make an effort to jazz up the cover. (I personally like to make collages of the front.)

Include a writing related surprise.

It should cost at least $3.00. This could be a composition book and a really nice pen. It could be a book about writing. It could be an altered mascot with happy sayings. It can be a journal.

Don't rate based on how you like the stories. The idea is to challenge the sender and maybe give constructive criticism from the receiver (in a private message).

Give hearts for extra entries, poems, writing prompts meant for you, illustrations, stuffing the journal, etc.

It's an intense swap. This means start now. The duration of the swap is 60 days, but feel free to send early.

I usually keep copies of all my stories, so I could potentially angel, but don't flake.

Due to the intense nature of the swap, I'm going to require 10 type 3 swaps (completed). I will ban questionable swappers.

Because of my budget, I'm making it USA only, but please feel free to make an international version. I'm all about sharing ideas!
