Description:

Hello new group :)

Here's my first hosted swap of this awesome group. For this swap, we will be making our partner a specific-to-their-problems care package! It will be 3-5 items valued at around $8 total. This will be very profile specific so please make sure you follow your partners allergies or sensitivities and wishes. This is so that it can really make our partners feel happy when times are bad in their life and/or disease/disorders.

Here's an example: I have chronic migraines and anxiety, so for me I would love to receive a sleeping mask, a stress ball, a chamomile candle, and an essential oil like ylang ylang.

This is an international swap with group membership required. If anyone has questions or comments please message me. I check frequently :)

To make this swap easier on both parties, let's list our chronic problems and/or items which help in times of flare ups- below in the comments section.

I have depressions and a chronic inflammatory bowel disease.

What helps me in those hard times are:

  • jokes (English or German)
  • comics (superheros or Disney, in English or German)
  • hot chocolate
  • stress ball
  • relaxing music
  • movies with a cheerful message/comedy/Disney movies (English or German)
  • stuff for crocheting
  • something to cuddle (like a big pillow or cuddly toy, something cute - I love elephants and cats)
  • coloring books (Mandalas, other nice motifs)
  • chocolate or m&ms (all kinds of - but especially peanut butter)
  • small "DIY" packages with everything inside you need to have for the little craft (like a keychain or whatever, just something I can do with my hands and the stuff inside the package)
  • A little reminder to smile
  • uplifting messages

Nothing with parfume please! Nothing with bunny/rabbit hair on it. But that are all important allergies for this swap, I guess.

I am really excited for this swap :)!

This is gonna be fun~!

I have fibromyalgia with joint pain, asthma, hypermobile joint syndrome, chronic mysterious stomach problems that is similar to IBD, chronic nausea, insomnia, anxiety, and depression! I'm in constant pain so anything distracting, comforting, or calming would be good.

Here are some ideas/examples: ~ small pillows or stuffed animals ~ coloring books ~ origami paper ~ play doh or other things I can fidget with ~ milk chocolate ~ japanese sweets ~ anything with lavender or rosemary ~ candles ~ poems, jokes, quotes, sayings ~ travel guides ~ hot chocolate or tea ~ music playlists ~ stones or crystals, painted rocks, etc. ~ anything artsy/creative

My profile has info, also~!

My profile has plenty of general suggestions, but these might be helpful for this swap in particular:

I have Narcolepsy with Cataplexy, so I am constantly tired in a way that's difficult for those without a chronic illness to fully understand. I would love to receive a cute eye mask and relaxing lavender scented items to help get me to sleep. I enjoy bath products, but I have sensitive skin, so it's best to stick to unscented or lightly scented items. I overheat easily, so I put my hair up a lot. Cute bobby pins and hair ties are always appreciated. Motivating journal cards for my planner would be awesome as well.

I'm excited for this swap, and the group in general. :)

I have crohns disease and chronic fatigue syndrome as well as arthritis. I am always exhausted and in some level of pain. Items that really help are: fuzzy/cozy clothing items (pajamas, socks, etc) or bed related cosy items (pillowcases, sheets, blankets) because I spend a lot of time in bed. Candles (no vanilla, candy or cake scents. I love earthy, cologne, woodsy, spicy, citrus, clean scents), bath products (especially lush), anything that helps you sleep because I'm a huge insomniac, love anything related to tea especially loose leaf teas and tea accessories, oils for my diffuser, and fun snacks (love trying new foreign foods, but check my profile for dislikes)

As I mentioned above ^ I have chronic migraines and anxiety so any items to help me sleep or relax would be much appreciated :) Think chocolates, sleepy time stuff and shower things. I love Philosophy brand things and of course Lush :). Scents I like when stressed or having bad migraines are: coconut, ylang ylang, lavender, and chamomile. I'd like to try nice tea but don't yet have an infuser or any fancy stuff like that. I also love candles in all scents except super sweet and overly floral. Interesting Books (secondhand is good with me) and DVDs are also stress relievers for me. See my profile for more if you'd like!

  • I'm very allergic to cinnamon so please be careful not to include. Thanks <3
