Shabby/vintage Starter Kit

Please pretend that your partner is brand new to Shabby Chic and Vintage crafting in the Somerset style! Send them a package of goodies that you use in your crafting. Value $6-10 USD While this is a 'starter' kit, keep in mind that your partner is already a crafter so will have black ink, white Cardstock, glues etc. So please send things specifically shabby or vintagey.

Now some items are multi style like ribbon, bakers twine etc so while you may send those, try to focus on specific items like patterned paper, shabby or vintage ribbon or lace, shabby embellies etc. The items in your package do not have to coordinate with each other. Eg if you send a baby stamp, the whole package need not be baby or pastel themed unless you wish to do so. Or send paper from different packs even if they are very different.

You MUST read your partner's profile to avoid dislikes. You MUST have a well-filled out profile with your colour preferences listed to join. You MUST send a variety, not all one item. At least 7 unique items. So not all paper or all ribbon etc.

Some ideas:

Pearls, rhinestones, beads, broken jewelry and sequins

Shabby or Vintage patterned paper or ephemera. No scraps unless at least 4x4" or equivalent. (You can punch or die cut scraps to make use of them).

Hand made paper

Flowers

Lace or ribbon

Rubber or clear stamps or VERY well stamped images (inform your partner of the ink you used so they can look up what colour mediums are compatible.

Stencils (make sure they will use brass stencils if you send those)

Vintage paper or ephemera

Die cuts (new or vintage, preprinted or ready-to-alter

Chipboard or wood veneer shapes

Metal embellies like tags, frames, letters, clips

Buttons (only shabby style or actual vintage)

Glass or vintage glitter (packaged thoughtfully!)

Of course you may send larger items like washi, glitter glue, paint, pastes, pearl paint, wooden stamps, punches etc but I don't expect anyone to send anything that won't fit in a relatively thin (1/2") mailing envie. Those would be a bonus!

*only send high quality, clean and new items (except for vintage items of course which still need to be in good shape but may have a patina or be distressed)

*NO computer printed images.

*package all items carefully to prevent damage.
