US Only- Birdie Decoration

It has been quite gloomy here, and I need something to brighten things up.
I love all the bright colored things on the Attic 24 website, and saw the tutorial for this birdie decoration and thought it would be fun to make.

Since I have had a few people request a US only swap, that is what this will be.

You will have 2 partners and will send them each 1 bird. This way we will have a pair of lovely fun birds to brighten up our space.

This pattern is written in UK terms. This chart gives you the conversion of stitches:

Please give the birdie the dangly legs and feet. Make sure the bird has a way to hang, you can use the ideas in the tutorial or come up with your own. In the directions she uses cotton yarn. You can use whatever type of yarn you choose, and whatever size hook you are comfortable with.
