HMPC: Under the Surface

Yes, the surface of the water!

Your postcard should be an underwater shot. Will it be happy and peaceful? Will it be menacing? You are welcome to show the waterline near the top if you like but please make the majority of your card, real or imaginary, "Under the surface".

So many things to choose from! Fish, shipwreck, mermaid, octopus, sunken treasure, coral reef, etc!

Style, color, design, and if you use pictures, photos, illustrations, patterns, etc is all up to you. Collage, draw, paint, stamp, die cut, it's up to you. Stickers not preferred but added as a tasteful element is, of course, ok.

The usuals:

• 4"x6" handmade postcard on heavy cardstock (think: about cereal box weight) Larger is ok if that works better for you.

• Any medium, any theme

• Naked mailing - I'd like to keep it inexpensive but if you are afraid to send your particular card on it's own, an envelope is ok.

• 1 partner

• International is ok ($1.15 in us stamps)
